This picked up 12 years after the tv series ended and was pitch perfect. The characters were as idiosyncratic as always and beautifully non pc. This is laugh out loud stuff with a great cast

This started off slow and hokey but built to such an extent that you were invested in almost all the characters( not you, ok).

But in the meantime we were treated to a detailed exposition of the art and grunt work of filmmaking.

I wish my teachers had taught me like this.

The time travel idea is not new but the characters and traumas are well developed. Ray porter does well as narrator but it’s essentially an English story set in England narrated in a us accent. Why?

Any book that has me cheering for a crippled torturer and a split personality mass murderer works for me. Ripping story and wonderful juxtaposition of internal monologues with verbal interchanges.

I couldn’t imagine this book without The masterful narration
