Story
Helena's life had always been quiet. In fact, she liked it that way. When her childhood friend returns home and tells her that she is the prophesied ruler of the Chosen, those blessed with the gift of magic, her quiet life goes up in flames. Suddenly Helena finds herself surrounded by a circle of protectors, each having sworn their loyalty to her since her birth. All except for one: her Mate. It's not enough that she must learn how to use her magic and undergo a trial to prove her worthiness; in order to claim her title, Helena must find the man who carries the other half of her soul.

Poor story
Reviewed: 09-07-2024
Really thought this girl was a 16 year old at the start by the way she was being treated, apparently she used is 21. The writing is so bad. Too on the nose. The MC is just too pure pure, kind, and BEAUTIFUL 183773919101x it is repeated in the book. If I hear AQUA EYES ONE MORE TIME ill stab my brown eyes out.
All of that for a setup that didnt even payoff at the end because it was so so fast. There’s so much filler, barely any plot and the poorest characters that are 1 DIMENSIONAL. ONE. why did I even read this

Story
When the rules turn deadly, winning is everything. Only available from Audible, a gripping psychological thriller from the author of Silent Child, Saving April, and The Broken Ones. Perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn, Lisa Jewell and Paula Hawkins. The perfect couple. The perfect marriage. The perfect game. Effie and Ben May have everything. Success. Beauty. Glamour. But beneath the charming smiles and expensive clothes, a twisted game is in progress. A game for which only they know the rules.

Great drama but the bg noise was annoying
Reviewed: 30-03-2024
I wish you can make the bg noise less annoying because all I can hear were more sfx and children laughing WHICH IS SO ANNOYING ( YOU CAN MAKE A CITY NOISE OTHER THAN LAUGHING CHILDREN THAT GOES ON FOR 30mins)

Story
My husband and I are fighting for our lives in hospital after a terrible car accident. But despite my pain, all I can think about is what our families will find behind our front door. The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

Full of unlikeable characters
Reviewed: 27-01-2024
If you’re into frustrating characters that only think of themselves, unreliable narrators, and white peoples getting away with things through white dove tears this is for you
I gave up halfway, because there’s not much suspense here but frustration from people just not dealing with the truth until the latter part, and even hiding from police
Props to the narrator for being able to voice 6+ chars so distinctly
