Story
When a girl’s body is found strangled, raped, and horrifically mutilated by a boat’s propeller, deep in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, newly arrived Detective Inspector John Tanner is asked to assist with the investigation. At first, all the evidence points to a man who had a multi-million-pound reason to kill her. But when an alibi is produced from an unexpected source, and another body appears at the base of a slipway, Tanner finds himself turning to local girl Detective Constable Jenny Evans for help.

I did have problems with the attempt at a Norfolk accent. My father is from Northern Norfolk and the accent was not there but that said still a very fine performance really enjoyed it.

Story
In his first book, David Jason told us about himself from his early years training as an electrician through to making it as one of Britain's actors. This autumn, in a follow-up autobiography, he tells us about the many other lives he has lived - his characters. From Del Boy to Granville, Pop Larkin to Frost, he takes us behind the scenes and under the skins of some of the best loved acts of his career. And in the process he reflects on how those characters changed his life, too.

Brian Blessed has a lifelong love of animals and over the years has rescued cats and dogs, horses and ponies, and even a very ungrateful fighting cock. All were characters in their own right, such as Jessie, a dog left languishing for a year at the local RSPCA, who ruled the entire household with a rod of iron, when she wasn't out harassing the local vicar.

Story
Hello there. Welcome to my autobiography. Throughout this audiobook I talk about my life and work, including Little Britain, Come Fly with Me, Bridesmaids, Les Miserables, Alice in Wonderland and, of course, Shooting Stars. The thing is, this is a bit different to most memoirs you may have listened to, because it comes in the form of an A-Z. Anyway, I hope you buy it at least twice. Thank you.

Dipping into the past to bring to a new generation something that worked well before does not always work. Thunderbirds(Movie) and the Green Hornet(Movie) to name but to, but the list is quite long. This, however, is the exception. Great story, great acting and a perfect balance of special sound effects. I can't wait for the next one!

Story
Fuelled by a degree of mid-life crisis and the need to escape, albeit temporarily, the dull routine of modern life, David and Rob set out to walk from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, taking in French villages, beautiful scenery, and one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in Europe. Just about perfect – if you can put aside the inevitable conflict, drama, and unexpected tedium that results from two men spending over seven solid weeks in each other’s company!

I want to do this walk, and I have arthritis!
Reviewed: 07-06-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
It is rare to come across a book that ticks all of the boxes. The balance of fact and story telling is without peer.
What did you like best about this story?
The pictures painted in my mind. I was taken along on the journey.
What does Rupert Farley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
It was certainly well read and I think the reader somehow turned it into a radio play. Wonderful
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Next time bring your own bloody map!
Any additional comments?
More please. Lame? Well perhaps, but I do rather like his insight, and with my arthritic knees it is the best way to travel.
