Story
Daniel Clement has suffered a secret humiliation and to recover, takes respite at the monastery where he was a novice. Can Daniel be reconciled with detective Neil and solve the mystery?

I was disappointed with this one. Bit too emotional and too personal. Interesting references to the monastery but a bit tiresome.

Absolutely love these books! Second time reading them and enjoyed just as much. Don’t be put off by reviews about the narrator. I loved the previous J Heffernon but find F Robertson as good. Maybe even better for precise DS Cross!

Story

Really enjoying this series. Great Character development - Cross is even showing some signs of growth! Yes there are more f bombs but they didn’t detract from the story …how can not swear at Cross ;)
