It was an ok book until the twist is revealed which then made it a fantastic listen. 5/5 for all

Unnecessarily long and drawn out causing me to lose attention and interest. It could have told the same story in a more succinct way.

I love JoJo Moyes books however I gave up on this one at Chapter 6 due to the narrator. She was very softly spoken requiring the volume to be turned up and then suddenly a horrible screeching loud voice would echo out from the speakers. I can only liken it to nails on a blackboard or listening to grunge metal music!!! I tried to persevere however it became so annoying that it was a chore to concentrate on the story. A complete waste of a credit but at least I've learned to listen to samples in future.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Some may have guessed the great twists but I didn't see it coming.

I've listened to the previous books in this series and this is the first one that I've used a credit for. This one is predictable but I enjoyed it nonetheless. James Lailey narrating is fab but one little quibble was his American/ Irish accent for one of the characters, it was a bit dodgy.

I found this difficult to follow at times due to the way the narrator read it. Who was saying what, the variations between the dates and stories (it jumped back and forward). The story was good but I think reading the book and seeing the punctuation etc would have made it easier to follow.

This is the first audio book that I've ever listened to and I found the first few hours of listening to this book a little bit of a struggle to be honest. Unsure of whether audiobooks were my thing or whether I just found the story a little bit boring. As she retells the story of growing up with strong family ties and a disabled father, this however, does set the scene for her compassion and kindness later in life. I found that once she met Barrack, I became more interested as she shares the challenges they faced trying to have children and his run for Senate and eventually the Presidency. It was really interesting to hear how they experienced life in The White House and her work as First Lady. I thoroughly enjoyed it after all!!!
