Story
Why are humans seemingly hardwired to worship gold? It is unique amongst metals: it is malleable, it doesn’t tarnish, and it shines like nothing else. Over time it has come to symbolise wealth and status. It can represent goodness and fidelity but also greed and lust. Financial educator, author and broadcaster Alvin Hall explores why we are so obsessed with this particular metal, and what it represents around the world - in terms of wealth and symbolism - both historically and now.

The thumb nail image caught me. I struggled to finish this, the only interesting part for me was the history part with the conquistadors. I think it could have been better if there was someone else narrating the podcast with a more commanding, happy and interesting voice. It may have been more entertaining and inviting.

Story
Carolyn Pickles retraces the true story of how 11 people came to be brutally cut with a deadly sharp implement, in a spate of attacks that left a town in a state of fear and police mystified about the identity of the attacker. Halifax, West Yorkshire, 1938 and the hunt is on for a razor-wielding attacker, possibly a murderer. The papers name him 'The Halifax Slasher'. A huge reward is offered for leads to his arrest. Vigilante groups form, and innocent men are set upon. Baffled, police argue with each other about how to catch the suspect.

Amazing work by the host of the podcast important and useful information for leading a healthy and long-lasting life one small hiccup I would like to say is that the medical terms and phrases that is used in the podcast it a bit difficult for the person who is not trained in that medical field to understand what she is saying. So a better breakdown should of been included. All in all it was a good podcast.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. I finished the book in two days. it was well put together. It had too much cussing for my part but that is the author's personality and what makes him authentic in his words. I will be re-listening again.

This is another great production from the Doctor. He goes in depth on why we always make excuses for say we are going to do something and we do not. And helps with ways in changing our thinking and mindset to getting the job done.
