Absolutely marvelous

What a treat. Perfect for the fall & cosy winter evenings by the fire. At first, I was unsure about the sound effects, but after a couple of minutes I got used to them and they really create a beautiful atmosphere. Even gave me a jumpscare once.
Thank you, Mr. Fry, I cannot wait what you will do next.

Nice story, bad narrating and sound effects
Reviewed: 23-05-23
After listening to the Harry Potter books narrated by Stephen Fry, I simply cannot stand this narrator, especially his impression of Dumbledor was just awful. The sound effects are too loud and sudden. Overall, I simply cannot continue listening to this.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

Surprisingly well written, with both humor and emotion. I really enjoyed it the book itself and also the opportunity to learn the true story.

Very nicely written, I enjoyed the book itself a lot. However, the narrator often sounded like he was having a cold and a stuffy nose. That was something that I had to constantly focus on.

Story
Stephen Fry travels into the most remarkable place we know - our brain. The organ of knowledge and the one we know least about. Over 12 episodes Stephen explores just how much we’ve learned about this mysterious structure in recent years and tries to answer some of the most difficult questions that remain. To do this, we relay the discoveries and stories of neuroscientists, psychologists, anthropologists and even philosophers, to add illumination and perspective as we travel. Each episode will be full of brainy stories: some shocking, some thrilling, some scarcely believable.

Loved it, Stephen Fry is amazing as always, the topic was great and surprisingly more scientific than expected - in a good way, I learned a lot! The music did not bother me at all, quite on the contrary, it complimented the narrative greatly.
