Tecno made an amazing phone even better at Computex 2024
If you’re not familiar with the Chinese brand Tecno, you’re about to be. This company has been making waves in the tech world with its technology. The company released the Tecno Camon 30 Loewe Edition, and this version uses recycled materials for the back cover.
We reviewed the Camon 30 Premier a few months ago, and we were blown away by how amazing this phone was. Just about every aspect of the device was incredible. The Premier has a gorgeous design that’s both elegant and eclectic. It’s a rather premium design with its metal frame. The screen is one of the best you can get on the market, as well.
When it comes to the performance, this phone is powered by the beefy MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. It was able to run all of the apps we tested it with and powered through some of the most graphically intensive games on the Play Store. Take that with the highly customizable software, solid camera performance, and pretty good speakers, and you have one of the best mid-range phones of the year.
Well, Tecno decided to make the phone even better by bringing a sustainability angle to it. The company partnered with the Spanish brand Loewe. This edition uses recycled coffee grounds for the backplate. The phone achieved a Bio-based certification from the USDA. The company also stated that the manufacturing process was powered by solar energy. Additionally, the company didn’t use any organic solvents or additional water.
All of this means that this was a very ethically made phone. This shows that Tecno is also thinking about the environment. This mentality, coupled with such a masterpiece of a phone, is the reason why the Tecno Camon 30 Loewe Edition got our award for Best of Computex 2024.
