The Pixel Tablet has leaked so many times at this point there’s little left to learn, but just in case you haven’t had enough yet, a new leak shows off what the pink color variant will look like from the front.
Spoiler alert, it has a set of white bezels like one of the other colors. Of which there will be four total according to previous leaks and rumors. You do also get a little bit of a peek at the pink edges of the Pixel Tablet in addition to the front. Though we’ve seen the back of the tablet in this color before through an earlier leak from back in April.
Still, it showcases more of Google’s upcoming device from a different angle and that’s always appreciated.
The pink Pixel Tablet looks more like Google’s Sand color
If you’re familiar with Google’s other hardware products, then you may have seen some of the ones that come in the company’s ‘Sand’ colorway. It’s kind of a like a light, subtle tan that you would associate with, well, sand. This color of the Pixel Tablet looks fairly similar to that. Of course this could just be the way the color looks in the promotional marketing image. Of which this one shared by Evan Blass almost assuredly is.
It’s certainly less pink than some of the other products that come in the Coral color. Like the recently leaked picture of the Pixel 7a smartphone. Which should be making an official appearance at Google I/O on May 10 alongside the Pixel Tablet.
Nuances of the color choice aside, these more muted colors of Google’s hardware tend to be a little more appealing to some. They’re less basic and boring than your standard black and white but not loud or brash. Which we think makes for a compelling option for color choice.
