We’re all waiting for Google to launch its Pixel Tablet. This will be a tablet with a unique dock that it’ll attach to. While we don’t know the price for the tablet itself, we know that the Pixel Tablet dock will set you back $129. Not only that, but we now know when the Pixel Tablet will launch.

This news comes to us from 9To5Toys (via 9To5Google), and it shows us an Amazon listing that was put up a little too early. In the listing, we get some important information about this charging dock.

The Pixel Tablet dock gets a price reveal

Starting off with the dock, the Amazon listing tells us some nice facts about it. For starters, the most notable fact is that this model comes in a Hazel color. Until now, we only knew about the Chalk color. It was recently revealed that the Pixel Tablet will come in four colors. Hazel could be one of its colors.

As for the dimensions, they’re listed as 6.65 x 3.71 x 2.77 inches. That points to a pretty compact device, so one would assume that this is for the non-speaker dock. However, that might be a bit hairy.

The title of the listing is “Pixel Tablet Standalone Charging Dock – Hazel” but the description reads that it’s a “Charging Speaker Dock”. So, maybe the company made a mistake in this listing. There’s a chance that we’re only looking at the charger and not the speaker.

If that’s the case, then how much will the speaker dock cost? Well, if the regular one costs $129, then it seems reasonable that the speaker dock would cost between $179 and $199.

However, if this is the speaker dock that we’re looking at, then it’d make sense for the regular one to cost around $99. We’ll need to wait on further information on the tablet to know for sure.

The listing also confirmed the launch date

There’s another interesting bit of information in this Amazon listing. In the availability section, we see “This item will be released on May 10th, 2023”. Do you know what else happens on May 10th? Google I/O. Rumors pointed to this tablet launching alongside the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a at Google’s annual developer conference.

So, There’s not much time to wait before this device enters the pre-order stage. If you’re excited to know more about this tablet, mark your calendar.
