Our favorite Droid on Verizon with an X in it’s name is getting much closer to getting the official Gingerbread update. According to P3droid, someone very connected in the Android Developer Community and who has a love for the Droid X himself, the Gingerbread update is not far off. Some rumors speculate that it will start rolling out on May 13. This is quite exciting to see, as it shows how devoted some manufacturers are to keeping their devices up to date. Even more exciting is the new interface that will come with the update, let me tell you, Blur gets much prettier on gingerbread.
