The quality is what you expect of a case. It’s good quality, flexible, easy to put on and to get off. Fits perfectly. I decorated it myself by cutting out some cute stickers off of the things I like and put it between the case and the kindle!

This cover/case is some kind of plastic but not any kind of space-age plastic. It's going to discourage "kindle Oasis" destruction but not prevent it ...not forever. so one day the thing is going to fall off your loft bed and hit the ground and that will be that. I'd say it's a good thing to get if you spent the money on a "kindle Oasis" but it isn't the best thing you could ever get...does that thing exist? you know "the best thing"?
It’s sturdy, and lightweight. I recently wanted to get a lighter case for my kindle and this one works perfectly. It’s durable and protects my kindle well, it allows me to decorate my kindle, and also I can now keep my kindle in my purse since it’s so thin!
I bought myself a new Kindle and wanted a simple case. Something that would protect it, but not something heavy or bulky. Was a bit unsure when I ordered it to be honest but couldn’t be happier. It’s the perfect fit. So easy to snap on/off. It’s lightweight, and doesn’t impede functionality. I love the fact that it is clear, I already started customizing it!!!
I’ve always been mystified by how Amazon can design a top of the line Kindle with uniquely functional ergonomic features like the Oasis (especially a hand hold on the back) and yet virtually all the cases that have been designed for the Oasis—including those from Amazon—block the hand hold.
This is only the second case I’ve seen that allows the ergonomic benefits of the Oasis to remain functional. An earlier version of this design from a different vendor was less well-conceived because it failed to maintain the sharp angle of the hand grip on the back and hence made it more difficult to use.
However, this case got everything right. The fit is nice and tight—basically perfect. There’s a lip on the front to protect the screen when the Oasis is face down. There are corner bumpers to better protect it if/when it is dropped. The plastic material is fairly grippy for a secure hand hold, is warmer in the hands than the uncovered aluminum Oasis back and the plastic is also flexible enough to not develop stress cracks as do virtually all other Oasis cases which use some sort of brittle plastic. It is protective, but light and streamlined, eliminating the bulk and fussiness of all the cases with flaps, stands, weird origami features, etc.
All in all, this is arguably the most well-designed Oasis case that exists. It is also one of the least expensive.
