I bought this, a 1 inch punch and a gluestick. I already have a bunch of old Magic the Gathering cards, and I used the art from the cards to create tokens. Each player just went through my bulk cards for an image for their character and we made the token right there, took just a few minutes. These plastic pieces have a little bit of a lip, which is not perfect for gluing on a 1 inch image, but it works pretty well. If I had a 19/20th inch punch these would be perfect. That said, it works well and the pieces look cool on the grid we use. Pretty happy overall.
I got these as part of an accountability device for my kids to teach them about buying "screen time." They get 4 hours of screen time a week and can buy half hour increments. We give them each 8 tokens and allow them to use them throughout the week. Works great.
Perfect for my project. Small discs about and inch in diameter. Fit NTag 215 stickers pretty well, with a tiny bit of overhand that could be trimmed. Come in a plastic case.
You may want to clean up the edges with a hobby knife, file, or fine-grain sandpaper just to get rid of any nubs where they were broken off the sprues, but a solid set of plastic counters for a low price, and they come in a rugged translucent storage box. If you get some 3/4 inch printable sticker sheets they'll fit nicely onto the faces between the raised outer ridge at the rim of each chip for custom game piece or tabletop gaming counters for far less than an army of miniatures, though I wouldn't plan on getting all 100 back in the box with the added thickness if you use a sticker on both sides. Easy enough to toss them in a ziplock sandwich bag or dice bag even then and the wide color selection makes it easy to print a bunch of identical sticker sheets and still tell the individual monsters apart, so highly recommended for the purpose.
I'm using these chips to develop a prototype board game and they work great. They've got a good weight to them, and a Sharpie pen can be used to write on the white chips, (helpful when I need them to represent items, areas, events, etc...). Generally very pleased with these pocket chips, and I really like the plastic case them come in which keeps them separated and organized. Check it out.
