This is well made and lightweight. It's easy to install with just the two screws. It adds protection to the gimbal and hopefully I won't have to experience a crash but its peace of mind if I do. It addition it looks good and sleek on the drone. I have the prop guards on mine but this is for me is back up protection as the camera is what I want to protect the most. I recommend these for sure!

Immediately after installing the protection, the drone fell very hard, so that dents are visible on the protection. if it weren't for the protection, I think the camera would be faulty. 5 stars

Protezione aggiuntiva rispetto alla plastica di serie, che rimane comunque montata.

Ho verificato che effettivamente protegge meglio la camera e non si vede nel frame in nessuno dei formati di registrazione.

The gimbal protector seems well made, the fact that they include rubber pads to avoid damage to the drone body is a great addition. However… they saved money on the “screwdriver” and I ended up stripping BOTH screw heads!!! Extremely annoyed and disappointed! WTH Startrc???
I’m no new to drones and small screws, I own 3 DJI drones and 1 Tello. The problem is the tool has no bite at all and the material itself is soft, deforming both. Now I’m trying to glue some other bit with epoxy to the stripped screws and at least try to remove them so I can install some bumper.

Stupid me, I had my iFixit toolkit on the cellar and got lazy… now I’m paying the price.

EDIT 10.06.2024:
Thes seller contacted me and issued a full refund. I did managed to remove the screws and install the bumper using my iFixit tool kit. STARTRC seems to have improved their screwdriver on a newer version of this kit. They were very cordial and professional and due to this behavior, I will keep supporting the brand. I do hope that Amazon removes the 'older' version from sale to avoid any other customers having the same issues as me.

Product fits perfectly on the camera and isn’t loose I do have one issue and it’s about the screws stripping easily I’d recommend using your own screwdriver and be careful not to tighten them too much
