The Philips electric lint roller is an awesome little device to remove lint from your clothes and furniture.
It works incredibly easy, all you have to do is gently hold it against the fabric and the lint will be removed. Just make sure the fabric is laid out flat, so that you don't accidentally create a hole.

This device is about the size of your hand and very light. It is pretty loud, however it doesn't bother me much and for the price, you can't ask for more. It gets the job done and it makes your clothes look like new.

It comes with 2 Philips batteries already included. It has a small protection piece for on top and it also comes with a tiny brush that you can use to clean the blades with.

Cleaning is very easy. The lint gets collected in the small pouch in the front, which can be detached. Just empty it in the bin and click it back into place.

Overall this is an awesome little tool that i highly recommend. It's cheap and works great!

Funciona muy bien!! Es cómodo y portátil!!
Me habría gustado que fuera de cable en lugar de baterías (las baterías incluidas han durado mucho) No me molestaría que tuviera el depósito más grande, pero supongo que es para obligarte a descansar cada tanto y no calentarlo.

Winter is almost over, and unfortunately I put my sweaters in the dryer a few times too many. This thing really helped me to remove pills and make them look a lot nicer. It was easy to use as long as you lay your clothes out flat and use your other hand to press down on the fabric near where you're shaving. I also like how the front metal grill is designed to screw off so it's easy to clean the blades.

I was specifically looking for something that's plugged in since I won't be using this thing more than a time or two a year. That means a rechargeable battery is likely to be completely empty when I want to use it, plus storing a rechargeable battery for a long time like that isn't good for its longevity. However, it's pretty much impossible to find one like that these days? My only choices were basically build-in rechargeable or battery powered, and I decided to go with batteries since I can just pop a couple in and use the shaver right away instead of waiting for hours for it to charge first. I did 3 sweaters on the two batteries provided and didn't notice a decrease in power/speed. It was a bit more slow going than I anticipated though, so I think if you're looking to depill something big like a couch you'd probably need something bigger/more powerful.

Sweaters pill. So do knit shirts. You can't get away from it, so you may as well embrace the fabric shaver, and give those unruly fashions a haircut. This one from Phillips works nicely. I didn’t want one with the double-handle type situation (one piece being the handle, one being the fuzz receptacle) because that seemed unwieldy and overly bulky- and hard to get into all the places one might need to get to.
That said, I DO wish the receptacle cup on this one was a little bit bigger, but it’s better than the alternative, so I’m dealing. I have had no trouble getting in pockets or sleeves or other awkward spots (with the clothing lying flat on a table).
So far I’ve used it on a cashmere sweater and a viscose/elastane blend knit shirt, and it has de-pilled both beautifully, with zero snags or pulls. I love it because this will keep my beloved clothing in my wardrobe longer, and will help with second hand and vintage items that I might have passed up before due to pilling.
The shaver itself has a nice big trimming face, and the blades are sharp- it trims very well. In looking at it, the face screws onto the body where it covers the blades, so perhaps you can adjust how close the blades are to the fabric. I’m sure they cover that in the manual, which of course I did not read. (but I did keep!)
There is a little clear plastic cover to partially protect the head of the shaver, but of course my darling dog chewed that up within minutes of me unboxing it, so…
All in all a great product so far. I’ll update if there are any dramas.
