There's just one beautiful problem. As cute as Evie is, she's absolutely nuts.

The Midnight Nanny is a wholesome tsundere/yandere romantic comedy written for men who enjoy the trope of obsessive women with a few screws loose. This is a work of fiction. If your significant other acts like Evie does in this novel, that's abuse. It's not as hot or funny in real life. But it sure is in this book. I said what I said.

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed Headpats After Dark, I ordered and read this sequel as soon as it was available. Virgil hits it out of the park again. The story is funny but detailed, not taking itself too seriously. His writing style is fresh and will leave you chuckling... if not outright laughing time and time again. The spicy and wholesome sweetness of Evie and Justin forging a relationship feels earned. My favorite characters from the first book, Mira (dracula) and Trevon make another appearance, and I was delighted to see that they had more involvement than I would have expected. I would give this novel, and the series, 6 stars if I could!

I wish that there was still more time spent on Dracula and Trevon’s relationship. However getting to see Justin and Evie was a lot of fun and not too complicated. If you’re looking for a light and easy read this is it!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.

Succubi who can't get laid for the life of her!? Evie is a daughter of satan and she is part succubi, but she is lacking something that most succubi have... ability to attract both men and women. But luckily our main guy in this series is totally into girls who don't necessarily have everything okay in their heads. So. So starts the love story about store clerk who can somehow kill monsters!? And succubi who to any normal guy would be a nightmare to deal with! But who likes normal? We also see some characters making an appearance from head pats after dark which is also a great book from Virgil. Overall this book is a 10/10 and I can't wait to read the next one!
