I thought this would give me the ability to exploit my 500Mb internet throughout the house. And it does, although TBH the fact I have backhaul Ethernet connecting the two nodes is what gets the second node above 200Mb. BUT, and it’s a big but, it’s unstable.

It runs off a Glasfiber modem with a built in WiFi router so I know it’s not my ISP letting me down. But the Atlas will lose Internet connectivity and not regain it on a restart, and even if I reset the units and swap them around, I have the same problem.

And the App is sloooooooooow. No excuse for it.

I’ve got a Google Nest WiFi to replace it. Far quicker to set up, superior App, and even without the possibility of the Ethernet backhaul to the second node, the performance is equal. From a router that is, on paper, slower than the Atlas. And no instability.

So back the Atlas goes. Don’t you love the 30-day policy?

J'ai remplacé mon répéteur wifi par le kit de 2 Atlas 6, dont un connecté à ma box fibre. L'installation s'est bien passée et le débit obtenu est considérablement supérieur à ma précédente installation. Le logiciel Linksys sur IOS fonctionne bien, mais il manque quelques options d'adaptation (et notamment le choix de l'adresse du sous-réseau utilisé). Le débit est excellent, très très largement supérieur à celui que j'obtenais avec le répéteur (au moins 5x). Je suis très satisfait et j'apprécie d'avoir 4 ports Ethernet disponibles sur chaque station, qui sont, en plus, très réussies esthétiquement.

These were really quite painful to setup. The app looks swish, but actually I think the web UI has more features once you work out where to find them. Also, every time you change any tiny little thing it seems to need to restart which takes about two minutes, which accumulates into hours, meanwhile your family are getting more and more annoyed that you're stopping them watching their favourite program.

They do seem to be the cheapest wifi 6 AX3000 mesh units you can get though, and the speed seems pretty good, I'm getting 400mbps off the child node at times.

I bought a pack of 2 for a 3 storey house, and I used 1 finally. It can cover the entire house with only 1 router , just a bit drop of signal strength. However, I don't know what some devices that can't have stable connection to it. That device was working properly at another location with another router.

Bought to replace weak BT Homehub but it wasn't until I contacted the helpline, that I realised I still needed my old router for them to work. This isn't clear in the manual or description. Basically a wifi extender and a rather expensive one at that! That said, they do provide good coverage and I've had no issues since they were installed.
