When I was in the US, I bought my brother a "Battery Daddy" which was apparently trending - I just saw it at the front of the Home Depot and thought it was such a good idea for a gift. I bought him a large collection of batteries to go with it. He loves it because it ensures he never runs out of batteries because he always knows how much he has of what.
So when I returned to Belgium, I was kicking myself for not getting one for me as well. I ended up searching on Amazon and found this one. I'm not sure how the one I bought in the US does, but one thing I notice about this one is that smaller batteries WILL fall out and slide around if the box is tipped up or sideways. So storing it flat is the only solution, which is a bit of a shame since it matches the size of my other tool boxes which I store upright.
A few AA battery slots are a bit snug, so I'm not sure they're all exactly the same size.. and it would have been nice if the box had come with some sort of legend so you don't have to try and guess at what the slots are for - yes it's obvious for AAA and larger, but with some of the smaller ones it can be a bit ambiguous.
Otherwise I'm super happy with this and glad I bought it! Like my brother said, it's nice to know when you're almost out of a certain type of battery. For AA and AAA I get rechargeables and it's convenient to have a dedicated space for them rather than a ton of disorganized battery packaging.
