This was a really fast read for me since I had a day filled with reading and relaxing.I did not expect the book to be so dark but I actually really liked it and was completely obsessed with the story.It reads really easy and I just didn't want to put the book down.I'm excited to read the rest of the books in this series!

I did not expect the book to be so dark but I actually really liked it and was completely obsessed with the story.
It reads really easy and I just didn't want to put the book down.
I'm excited to read the rest of the books in this series!

Sorry for the wordplay in the title. But this book is amazing. The only thing that I felt was unrealistic was the fast pace as the love interests trusted each other after each drama (trying to not spoil the fun for you guys). But this book is definitely one I would recommend. I have read more books with the same concept and those were slightly better written when it comes to trust and loyalty, in my opinion.. but to be fair this book is anything but real life, a true neverland to escape in. Have fun reading! Definitely worth it.

A dark and spicy re-imagining of Peter Pan? Yes, please! I have greatly enjoyed reading Hooked by Emily McIntire. I loved the dual point-of-view and the way in which the author brought to live such different yet recognizable versions of these beloved characters. This book is quite dark and might be triggering to some, but I loved every minute of it. The romantic tension and romance scenes were very good, I cannot wait to start the second book in this series! PS: the audio book is great too!

I loved it. It was a fun and easy read and even though I was hoping for other hooked things,
it was good enough without it. ;)

The scene where James found Ru had me absolutely gutted and even now, weeks later, I'm still thinking about it.

But I'm happy James & Wendy found each other with a few twists at the end.

This book is a dark masterpiece that will have you questioning your morals. I absolutely loved every second of this book with the twists that you don't see coming!

James and Wendy are something else, and the personality of the two seems to balance each other out. I love how James has a soft side to him that seems to only come out for Wendy. It's definitely a must-read!

Al principio (la primera mitad del libro) me costaba mucho leer por que estaba harta del hombre misterioso y malhumorado que enamora a la chica. Pero OMG los cambios de eventos y lo rápido que empieza todo a cambiar que de haberme tardado 6 días en la primera mitad, la segunda la leí en un día! Vale la pena mil veces.

eu amei tanto esse livro que não consigo nem expressar!

foi uma leitura rápida e diferente de todos os dark romances que eu já li. eu amei o james e a wendy. eles são tão opostos e a autora foi bastante fiel aos personagens, colocando referências e muito mais.

a wendy sendo meio sonsa, mas mostrando o seu valor no final (exatamente como nos filmes), o peter sendo o vilão (até quando senhor? estão destruindo a minha infância!!) e a tina como a representação da sininho, o que eu achei bastante interessante.

eu gostei bastante da história, trouxe algo diferente dos contos de fadas em livros, onde todos se resumem em a bela e a fera. pretendo ler o livro do scar e os seguintes, gostei bastante da escrita e espero ler mais livros da autora!
