I would recommend for anyone interested in Tao. Easy to understand for those who would be tackling this stuff for the first time. My reason for 3 stars is there are parts that are too rambly for my taste. The beauty about the Tao masters of old is their scripture held much weight and depth with fewer breaths. That being said, the majority of the book didn’t suffer from this. A well written interpretation/explanation.

Für alle, die sich für die „inneren“ Kampfkünste und den Daoismus ernsthaft interessieren, bietet diese Buch eine große Fülle von Informationen, die man so fundiert und konzentriert selten findet. Es ist spürbar, dass Damo Mitchell Vieles, worüber er schreibt, selbst praktiziert (hat) und das gibt den Artikeln eine bemerkenswerte Tiefe und Ehrleichkeit. Neben erfährt der Leser spannende Dinge aus der chinesischen (Geistes-)Tradition, z.B. was die Fu-Hunde symbolisieren. Das Buch ist in klarem, gut verständlichem Englisch geschrieben. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I wasn't originally planning on buying this book, as I'd followed the online magazine from it's inception. However, I happened to flick through someone else's copy, and knew immediately I had to have it - so much quality information, presented in an easy to digest way. In time, I'm quite sure that all of Damo Mitchell's books will be revered, for their access into ancient teachings into a tradition from long ago, and far away.

Great book, great information and I'll bet he has enough for 6 more like it!
I'd buy everything he has written in hardback and call it a proper library.
