Intial impressions in 2 days use:Best phone in the 30K budget,1. Super bright and fluid Screen -It is whitish screen not like oneplus screens. On oneplus 7t observed little yellowish of screen compared to this iqoo 9 se phone, hence oneplus 7t screen looked over saturated colors and bit brighter in yourube videos2. Stereo sound - Nice - stereo seperation is fine for me, but not loud as oneplus 7T speakers3. Video Full hd+ support in almost all apps - you tube, prime, netflix4. Camera - front and back- super good detailed photos, Removed beutify default option and verified. Videos need to check5. Battery back up - For single chanrge it came up to 32 hours + still 8 hours battery available in moderate use. Screen on time is 5 hours 50 mins6. No heating issues at all inusage, observing little heat while charging the phone and this is common in almost all phones7. Fountotuch os 12 looking good, it came near to stock Android but still need to work on. Some bugs are there like while playing the youtube first time it is always showing play and pause option on videos, hence opened accessibiltiy settings and do some resets then only this options removed now it is fine8. Phone is balanced in weight, but you may feel bulky in longer usage.9 Power button is little bit high to reach, this is only for me, need to be careful in one hand usageMore advatages than cons, i suggest to go for this mobile. May update this review after a month usageThanks

It's an Upgrade for me as I moved from OnePlus 3T to IQOO 9SE

Display: 120hz refresh is much better than 60 Hz. Bigger screen better colors. Screen to body ratio is low and is pleasant to use a big screen.

In Box: The mobile cover provided in Box is very good and does not hide the cool color of the Phone. The type C to 3.5 mm jack inclusion is one of the best thing I liked, switching from old phone is made easy with same Sony earphones. I use only a cover for my screen to avoid scrathes, it's provided on phone applied, one less hassle for me, thanks IQOO.

Battery: Upgrade from 3500 mAH to 4500mAH feels good, though bigger screen and 120hz takes away a little. With 66W fast charge upgrade from 20W dash charge is a big change, come with bigger and heavier charger but the charging speed is so good, it's just a small break between big phone use sessions.

Camera: A big upgrade too from 16 MP to 48MP and with OIS. Very nice images, liked the portrait mode with edge detection. Excellent in good lighting conditions. Need to start using ultrawide camera.. selfie camera has no change in MP size, but beauty mode being default on is bad. IQOO needs to disable beauty mode by default.

Build: Feels strong, don't see a difference with one plus 3T. Feels heavy but usable.

Gaming: Didn't buy the Phone for gaming, but tried my favourite game, Fortnite. Got 60 fps with low settings, but heats up a lot more then expected. 888 chip does its job, but heating and battery draining can't be avoided. It's still a compact phone and the graphics requirement is high, will stick to gaming on laptop.

Storage: I don't know if it's LPDDR5 or UFS 3.1 which helps, but the document or photo reading speeds are much faster and feels light and smooth. App opening is also much smoother, it must be 888 in action. Not gonna use the extended 4GB virtual RAM. I feel it will be slower. Go for 12 GB version if you need more RAM.

OS: Android 12 options are much advanced and provide lot more flexibility compared to Android 9. Funtouch OS is easy to use, doesn't look as clean as Oxygen OS, didn't face major blockers though. Liked "always on" display features.

Verdict: @31K it's a good upgrade from One Plus 3T. Phone does feel premium and I personally feel better value for money from IQOO compared to OnePlus.

Well for 33k which is the price I got it for it is a amazing phone
Iqoo has definitely nailed the key pillars of a phone
Display: 120hz Amoled display looks good and supports hdr which is great
Processor: SD 888 may not be the latest and greatest but still holds up very well
And many people will be concerned about heating issues but do not worry because Iqoo has dealt with the issue in a splendid way
I have run run antutu v9 5 times continuously and the phone never broke the 43 degree mark and got a score of 820k in the final run and also did a 15 min 20 thread cpu throttling test in which the cpu stability was 86 percent which is considered excellent for a sd 888
Speakers: stereo speakers sound great but I have found that it is not very loud in my opinion but it is not a big deal
Cons of this phone
Camera:the interface is not very simple like samsung phones but the image and video quality is not terrible for the average person this camera is more than enough
Software:not gonna lie funtouch os is great but there are some bugs which do affect the user experience but still not a dealbreaker
But the 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patches is very bad I would have liked 3 years of both brands like samsung are pushing 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches for similiarly priced phones but this kind of lackluster support from iqoo is very dissapointing
Battery life: In my opinion this is the biggest con of this phone
The small 4500mah battery paired with a power hungry sd 888 is not a great pair for battery life
I get about 6-7 hours with normal usage
And about 4-5 hours with heavy gaming
But the upside is that the fast 66w charger is great and charges this phone up in minutes but when u are away from the house you can feel the bad battery life
So overall an amazing gaming/everyday phone
But it has its cons so bear that in mind before purchasing this phone
This phone deserves the 5 stars but I have given it 4 because of the cons

So after using for about 1 month, this is what I've noticed:
1) Battery life is Decent, will last about 1 day with normal usage, which is expected from a snapdragon 888 phone. The charging speed is very good.
2) The phone has some proximity sensor issues especially when on long calls. The screen gets light up, and sometimes it stays that way unless you manually press the power button to turn off the screen.
3) The Camera really exceed my expectations. It is certainly not something to be compared with the pixels or iphones, but for the price point, specially considering that it is a performance oriented phone, the camera is pretty good.
4) The software update situation is good. Already received the July security patch, and the updates are, so far, free of any bugs.
5) I'm not going to go very deep regarding the performance, since you've probably watched the videos on YouTube. In a nutshell, it is extremely good.
6) Heating is very much manageable. As a 888 phone, some amount of heating is expected, especially while gaming or using camera or gps etc, but the phone never gets uncomfortably hot. While changing, the phone also becomes little bit warm, but nothing to worry about.

Overall it's a very good choice under 34k if you have preference for 888 phones (for intense gaming etc). However, if sd870 is something that you've no problem with, IQOO Neo 6 would be a much better choice, since that phone is cheaper, has pretty much the same specs (apart from sd870), and also has a better battery life. The camera is also the same in both of the phones. Hope this Helps...
