I am a bit of a clutz and drop the airpods all the time, this case does not allow the top to fly open, therefor I am not searching for where my airpod flew out too. The cleaning brush it came with is a bonus! You need to make sure the top is put on fully or when you open the case the top comes off and the case stays closed. Once I got it on fully (its a very tight fit) it stays on and opens the case properly. I am thinking of getting this for my girls, just have to find the same kind of case for airpod gen 2.
