 This product is worth every penny. The color is rose gold but the video makes it look like a yellow gold. It's very sturdy, the razor is sharp and the magnet helps in getting a good cut. Be sure and use just a fingertip to push down. If you apply more pressure it could smash the pill. It's super easy to clean and just the right size to take with you when traveling. Made of metal, not plastic. The metal tin it comes in was slightly indented but I don't care about that. Comes with a nice little faux leather case to keep it from getting scratched. I highly recommend this product!

I like the craftsmanship and quality. The problem I have with it is, The size. The area where the pill gets cut is very tight. I found it hard to maneuver the pill around and flip it over. I have purchased a few different Pill Splitters. They all crush my pill. I only have 1 pill I need to split, so I leave my thumbnail long and use it.
But, If you have good eyesight and can work with your hands well, you shouldn't have a problem with this. So, I would recommend for these people.

Bought this to split tablets for my dog. It's a little bit fiddly. You have to pull back the pill holder on the inside and place the pill instead of just dropping it in. It does a great job of cleanly slicing pills, and it looks nice and sleek, if that matters to you in a pill holder. I went for this one mostly because I'm trying to buy less plastic, and it's made of sturdy aluminum. It closes with a satisfying magnetic click, which is hardly a necessary feature, but which may give it a side job as a fidget toy around here.
