The Miele C1 Cat and Dog Vacuum Cleaner is Extremely Lightweight, Made to Last the User an Average of 20 Years, Sports Miele's Extra Large G/N Bag, an STB 20 Handheld Mini Turbo Brush, a SBB-3 Parquet Floor Brush and More! The Miele Cat and Dog is a true dream come true. The Miele Cat and Dog C1 uses Miele's 1,200 Watt Motor found on all other Miele Vacuum Cleaner Canisters providing the user with plenty of power. Electronic suction dial is located at the back of the machine, Settings include drapes, furniture, throw-rugs, quiet setting, Large area rugs and wall to wall carpet/bare floors. Controls range from 200 Watts to 1200 Watts. The Miele Cat and Dog comes packed with a Crush-Proof Ergonomic Hose that has a Vario-Clip located at both the base of the hose handle and the machine connection piece which stores your included Crevice Tool, Upholstery Tool and Dusting Brush on the machine. The Miele Cat and Dog also comes with stainless-steel telescopic wands that easily connect to the floor brush and hose with a simple click. This electrically driven carpet tool with an extra wide brush roll lets you adjust height based on the pile of the carpet and is perfect for deep cleaning medium to high pile carpet. This amazing powerhead is extremely powerful and almost pulls itself making cleaning easy and fun. The Miele SBB-3 Parquet Floor Brush is the perfect tool for any bare floors surface, such as wood and tile. The Parquet Floor Brush has two soft rollers that allow for easy gliding action and sports genuine horsehair bristles that gently sweep the surface while brushing dust particle out of cracks. We have a Golden Lab dog and an inside/outside cat. The amount of fur the dog generates is incredible! This vacuum cleaner has the suction and the power brush to eliminate all the dirt in the house. The ONLY complaint is that the cord is a little short. Other than that, it is well worth the money...AND it's QUIET!

I didn't want to spend $700 on a vacuum. But I did. I have been a shark vacuum owner for years. The issue I had with my sharks is they lasted about 2 years and the hose would Crack and the vacuum would just start falling apart. I have 4 dogs and vacuum almost daily.
The miele had held up well so far, but only time will tell. The suction is better than a shark, but it picks up a similar amount of hair. I wasn't thrilled about going back to a bagged vacuum, but this certainly doest better with dust and dander. I was cleaning the filters on my shark every 2 weeks. Overall, I like this vacuum. It will truly be worth the cost if it has longevity. Only time will tell, but it certainly feels very well built.

Have never spent this much on a vacuum cleaner, but was tired of throw-away quality of everything else. This Miele lives up to th hype. We have indoor pets, and this easily vacuums furniture, curtains and floors. It is very maneuverable, light and overall a really great vacuum.

I wanted to really use this vacuum before I gave it a review. I was nervous about laying out this much money for a vacuum, but I am not disappointed. I had previous owned an old model Electrolux, that was wonderfully powerful, but it was old when I got and I ran it until it was more expensive to repair than to replace it. I then got a Samsung which also had a power nozzle, which was a must-have. Bonus it was very quiet, I had young children then so it was a nice option. I ran that one to its death as well. I then went to with a new Electrolux and it didn't have a power nozzle and just never really loved it. We moved into our current home and I have carpet for the first time in over 20 years. My Electrolux was just not cutting it. After several friends' recommendations, and reading the reviews, I decided to go with it. I am so happy with this purchase! The powerhead is a must with carpet and the tools make it so easy. I purchased the bundle so I wouldn't have to worry about ordering bags and filters roo soon. I purchase a lot from Amazon and I rarely review because of lack of time. I felt I had to give this review for someone like me who was on the edge deciding if this was worth the price. My answer is YES!

Overall I am very pleased with this vacuum. Pros, its really light weight, very quiet, has great suction, and good attachments. Cons, has a shorter power cord than I'm used to, and I'm disappointed that the mini turbo attachment doesn't have its own motor. Thats the reason I give it 4 stars and not 5. When reading the description, it was not real clear if it did or didn't but that being said, it does a pretty good job anyways. I still miss my electrolux and my "lil lux" but this vacuum is close to it. Price seems a bit high but if this lasts and performs well then I guess it's worth it. Time will tell.

After much research I had decided Miele was the vacuum we needed for our two-dog home which is mostly hardwood floors and, washable area rugs/runners.
It was almost impossible to find a setting that allowed the carpet attachment to work with our rugs. The suction was such that the motor head would stop working unless it was set to the maximum height which then barely picked up any meaningful debris.
The upholstery attachments are poorly designed. The spin brush is suction driven rather than motor driven. The moment it touches a fabric, the brush stops spinning.
We were so hopeful that this would solve our pet hair problem but alas, it was completely useless for our needs.
If hardwood floors were our only surface this would have been more than enough vacuum but not at this price point. Very disappointed
