I received my guard very fast and installation was a breeze. My watch fit in the install tray perfectly, the 6 step install card was simple to follow, the sticker grabbed a few pieces of lint, the guard aligned exactly and the little squeegee thing pressed out any bubbles. I also prefer the feeling my watch face has even more than I did before the guard. Love it, highly recommend!

Since I bought my Apple Watch 8, I've always kept a screen protector on it. The ones I've used in the past were made of a very clear, flexible, rubbery material, with no border. They work great, and I've never had an issue with bubbles under the film. The problem with them is, since there is no border, you will eventually snag the edge, and once that happens, it looks bad (this is why they usually come in a pack of six).
I had high hopes for the "Gadget Guard", as the black border makes the edge much less likely to get snagged. Additionally, the included jig makes application a no-brainer. You simply cannot mess up the alignment.
Unfortunately, in my case, immediately upon application, bubbles became visible around the perimeter. Rest assured these spots are NOT dust motes trapped under the film, as the watch face was perfectly clean (I've done this before). The bubbles weren't large, and being confined to the perimeter of the watch face, I figured I could live with it. Within a couple of days however, the bubbles became worse.
They do give you two protectors, so I peeled the first one off, and applied the second. This time, I took extra care to squeegee the film from the center, so any trapped air could escape, but the results so far, have been exactly the same.
The concept of having a jig to insure alignment is fantastic. They just need to find a film and/or adhesive that is less susceptible to this problem. I know the material is out there, because the protector's I've been using never did this (though they don't have a border, so maybe that's the difference).
The bottom line on Apple Watch screen protectors is that you will not find one that actually works. They all have issues. I now choose to have a nice clear non-border protector that I know I'll have to switch out within a month. Unfortunately, that's just the price you have to pay if you want to preserve your cool new watch.

Easy to install with the good instructions and the template/tray included. And there's a spare if you do it wrong. But, if you follow the instructions, you won't. It's a perfect fit all the way to the edge of the face and I really can't tell it's on there at all. It's a seamless look. At the same time I am confident that my very expensive watch face is protected. I've bumped it several times, my dog has jumped on it and scratched it multiple times and the face shows no evidence of any damage. I've had no bubbles, peeling or delaminating after 6 weeks of use. Highly recommend.

Nice easy installation kit, but questionable durability

I try to give items a little bit of time before reviewing them, so I can see how they hold up before the review. I held onto this for just over a month before writing this review. The installation is made easy and straightforward with the installation kit, so that is a big plug. And the product comes with two screens for a reasonable price. With that said, if you look at the picture accompanying this review, you will see a decent size dent in the cover. This popped up just a few days ago. I don't have any recollection hitting the watch face against anything, so I don't know what led to the dent. But it certainly makes me question the quality of the product. To be clear, I was all set to write a much more positive review of this screen protector just a few days ago, because I was otherwise pretty happy with it. But now, I just can't recommend it based on my experience with its durability.
