Do you know how dehumidifiers work?
The recommended ambient operating temperature is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).
The warm and humid air comes into Shinco home dehumidifier through the grill on the back of the unit, then moves over the cold coil, which condenses water out of the air. The water collects on the pipes and drips down into the bucket for later removal. The dry air is reheated and is blown out the top of the unit and back into the room by the compressor.

Perfect dehumidifier for my indoor garden.
This dehumidifier has been controlling the humidity levels as expected in my four plant recirculating deep water culture screen of green garden setup. I was initially taken back by the "reconditioned" labeling on the box when I originally received it, but so far it has worked just as you would expect a new one to. I like the power-interrupt memory feature and the auto program feature. The reservoir is pretty small, it fills up pretty fast, that's why a got some after-market hose to use for the external drain, as the included drain hose is very short. I use this dehumidifier in conjunction with an AC Infinity controlled intake/exhaust and an air conditioner to control my overall grow room humidity levels.
