Be careful installing
The filter is similar to the brita filter so it fits but not snuggly. Make sure you get it as close as possible and turn the water on slowly. I didnt and the filter came flying off spraying water all over me and my kitchen until I could turn it off. I would put it on and off a few times to be sure. When the water does start some black carbon will come out so be prepared and dont drink anything until its run for a while. The green light doesn't turn on so you will have to remember to change it later. Overall not a bad price for the product.

These filters plugged in perfectly fine - My concern however was the water flowed so freely through that it left me wondering exactly how much filtering could be going on.... Obviously some lab investigations would be required to truly find out which is beyond my ability to perform, but short of this I felt that sticking wt the OEM replacements was the wiser choice.... Faster flow = less resistance = less filtering I think is a safe assumption.
