Update: Several weeks in, this screen protector is holding. It has stuck well, all the bubbles on the edges are gone. On the second day, the edges along my curved screen came up a little, but they have stayed in place since being pressed down again. The thing looks great and feels like a substantial layer capable of protecting from scratches. If you have a 12R, go for it.
Not many options for OnePlus 12R. Found these linked by one of the smartphone review sites, don't remember which. It has been hard to find a good screen protector. I ordered a glass one that was very reflective and smudged very easily, also had other issues. Was hoping for something better.
This Orzero/Newzerol set of three screen protectors is fairly inexpensive, had some reviews already that looked authentic.
Installation went remarkably well. I've used screen protectors on phones for a decade and I have never had such an easy time with installation. They provide a sticky foam block to help keep your phone steady on your work surface while applying, which was very helpful. The installation method barely left any bubbles on my phone at all, on the first try. There is one in the middle which might be an errant piece of dust I missed when sticking the green part of the protector on, so I'll look out for that if I have to do it again. There are 3-4 other tiny bubbles near the bottom edge. Their instructions claim that small bubbles will disappear. Also claim that if a horizontal line is visible down the middle of the screen protector, in about 24 hours it should clear up. I only just installed it, but since installation is often the biggest hassle, I wanted to leave a review to let people know that these are VERY easy to install.
Go for it! I'll update when some time passes.
