I ordered a 512GB Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to replace my aging Google Pixel 3XL. I was extremely excited to find a great price and placed an order after seeing the good reviews and felt confident in the quality and ease of return since the item is sold and shipped via Amazon.
Shipping was fast, the item arrived at my post office and I picked it up immediately for inspection. I brought it to two friends that also have S23 Ultras to unbox and get feedback. Immediately I noticed that I had ordered Green and received Lime which was disappointing but not a deal breaker since it would live in a case.
It powered on and the screen seemed bright without any dead pixels or screen issues that I could see. I clicked the S Pen and it would not come out. My friends showed me theirs and they clicked out easily. It was at this point I noticed there was slight damage to the bottom corner housing of the phone that could have caused binding on the S Pen and was entirely unwilling to investigate further.
I took a short video showing the condition of the phone, explaining the issue, demonstrating it, and boxed it back up for return. In short within an hour of picking this phone up I went from ecstatic to questionable to downright disappointed and have already sent for a refund. While I applaud the quick shipping and the seller approving the return so quickly I'm still extremely disappointed.
