I'm not super abusive with my phone, so I can't say that I whipped it on concrete several times and the case protected it. But the case is solid, easy to hold (not slippery), and FEELS secure. And with my older phone and Spigen Rugged case (Google Pixel 3), the case kept my phone alive until right now, for YEARS, with no issues. I love this brand. This case for the Pixel 8 is SUPER solid and doesn't easily come off, so I know it's sturdy. It feels super high quality. For now, I'm sticking to this brand. No issues yet, and still impressed!

Not grippy and questionable drop resistance

I mean compared to the pixelate which is mostly all glass and slips right out of your hand you know as soon as you put it in it this case is okay. The case itself doesn't actually have a lot of grip to it it's slightly slippery to the point where you could drop it and I really hope that I don't because I'm kind of scared at how thin this thing is if it's really gonna protect my pixel8. Other than that though it does its job for the price I guess it's okay if it came with a screen protector that'd be great but it doesn't it occasionally feels like it might slip out of my hands which is why I gave it a 3 star rating if it had a little bit more grip and traction to it I would give it a 4 star but it doesn't it occasionally feels like it might slip out of your hands.

This is a nice, slim case that still protects well. A nice balance of being thin but also functional. I got the pixel 8 because it's a little smaller than older versions, and this case doesn't add bulk and is rely easy to slide in and out of pockets, as well as add a little grip to hold on to more securely.

This is my 3rd phone that I've bought a Spigen case. I am known for being a bit clumsy and drop my phone fairly regularly. Example, phone slipped out of my hand and fell down long flight of wood stairs, hitting and bouncing several times, then landed HARD on the slate floor below. No damage at all!! Since I've had Spigen cases, I have not had any screen crack for years now! This case is not bulky at all and I highly recommend

Spigen for the win. I have had this case on most of my phones the last several years. This one for the pixel 8 pro is on my sons phone and he loves it. He had the same case on his Moto G Power and it was the one he wanted for his new phone. It has protected my Pixel 7 Pro from drops the past year. We take care of our stuff and the occaisonal accident happens, but this case design has held up well. I will say the one on his moto g power saved the phone when it was run over by at least one car, maybe more. by the time we backtracked and found it. The back was perfect, screen was replaced and he used the phone another year and a half.
