What a fantastic phone. I was a die-hard iPhone user and had a Samsung Galaxy as a backup phone, just in case. I didn't want to upgrade my Samsung, and wanted an excellent camera phone, and kept hearing how good the Pixel was for basic photography (on my long walks, there are a lot of photo opportunities). I decided to get a refurb'd 7 Pro to test it out and see how I liked it.
WOW. I was never this happy with my Samsung - the user experience overall is superior to Samsung IMO, and on par with the iPhone ease of use. I set up this phone with everything my iPhone has re: apps and settings, and quickly forgot I even had an iPhone - this became my primary phone within a matter of days. iPhone who?
The camera on this phone lives up to the hype - professional level controls on a phone! I've taken some great shots both indoors and outdoors, and it's a great little phone for when I'm out and about and see something interesting (I'm comparing this phone to my Canon and Pentax cameras - my other camera phones have never been this good). The Pixel camera is just a hair or two below my professional cameras. Again, my opinion, but this is just what I needed for capturing great shots to post online or use as a basis for my drawings. No issues at all with this refurbished phone, after a month or two of use, so very pleased.
