Part of the issue is these service plans are NOT on the same receipt with the product you want covered through the Asurion warranty. The other part of the problem is the Asurion order number in their generated warranty information email, also does NOT reference the order for the item the warranty is supposed to cover! The order number in their generated email, is only the order number for the plan itself. Its quite ridiculous in this day and age that this stuff, be separated out and in this case, completely unaccounted for as to what policy goes with what item.
It is holiday season Amazon/Asurion. You're about to annoy a great number of your buyers who are buying 10 kitchen items and will have 10 policies that the buyer, has no clue which warranty goes with which item. Very unprofessional and poor service of both of you.
This is ridculous. I have bought 4 of these plans in the last month, and cancelled one of the items before it shipped. So I am having more than a difficult time trying to figure out what plan goes with what item, especially when the receipts for the items are showing different dates for purcahse of the covered item, and for the purchase of the plan.
Both Amazon and and Asurion need to get on the ball and fix this. I've already wasted an hour today trying to line up 2 service plans to two orders, along with the 3rd order that was cancelled, that is throwing a monkey wrench into lining things up.
Put the service plan AND the covered item on the SAME INVOICE PLEASE!!! Why Amazon does this nonsense while other retails don't, is beyond me. Fix this, it's a waste of my time and very angering to where I may not buy future protection plans from Amazon.
