Broke my previous screen protector by dropping my phone face down onto a gravel road. Made quite the sound. Ordered these on Amazon because they were around $5ish and there was three in a pack.
My previous screen protector was probably around $15, only came with one, and had this special jig that helped me place the screen protector perfectly on my phone screen. This, although $5 for three, didn't come with one of those. This wasn't the end of the world, but I was sad I had to rely on my "pristine eyeballing skills and steady hands."
I installed the first screen protector fairly quick, but I saw that I missed a spec of dust under the screen protector. Tried to lift it off and then use the "dust remover" sticker thing, but I ended up putting more dust on. So I recleaned my phone screen, then installed another screen protector.
After installing the second screen protector, I noticed some spots that seemed to not stick down. I don't believe it's due to faulty installation, but I could be wrong. When I put the protector on, I started pressing down on one side, slowly moving to the next. I could see the air escaping like it should. Now with these other spots, they seem to press down, but they don't stay down. Not sure what could be the issue.
As far as I can tell, there are no changes to touch sensitivity and my fingerprint sensor. I also don't think there are any changes to clarity and picture on my screen. I'm not sure what the quality of material is like. Once I drop my phone again, I'll make sure to let you guys know how it goes.
