These are extremely inexpensive and I was hoping for the old type of Victoria's secret quality circa 10 plus years ago, but these are very cheaply made and they don't hold up.
I've purchased four packs of these now. First pack I bought and they were true to size they held up and I still have them they wash well and they're great. I bought a second pack and it was disastrous. Like some other people had written and reviews I guess the quality depends on which color or print pack you're getting which is ridiculous.
Quality assurance should be consistent especially coming from Amazon you'd figure that they might have any kind of quality double checks but it doesn't seem like they do. The second pack that I bought after washing before wearing, in a mesh garment bag on gentle and then throwing in the dryer on low, which is nowhere near how people normally handle cotton underwear, the thread around the elastic started coming undone and also some of the elastic just started shredding into a million strands. Picture piano string. Two pairs I had to throw out right away the other three I was able to occasionally wear until the elastic just completely came undone. So five pairs thrown out garbage within under five wears.
I was like okay maybe I did get one of the packs that other people had described and I tried to go for another pack more similar to my original which was unavailable in my size, and I got them and the sizing was a little bit small. I did have some of the same issues with the seams starting to come undone but not at the top and I was able to get several wears out of them but then I started to see the same problems. Three of the five we're okay the other two I had to throw out.
So then I decided to order a fourth pack of salad colors that I didn't see specific issue reviews with that color pack, as well as I ordered a 5-pack from Soma and a 5 pack from Jockey just to see if we're around the same amount of money the same thing would happen. And I finally given up on these. I got them not that long ago, again washed them very delicately I put three pairs in the dryer on low in a garment bag and two pairs I just laid flat. As far as size go they are either one to two sizes too small. I laid them up against my other packs before and after drying and they didn't shrink they were just too small to begin with. there's no sizing consistency, I don't know if the elastic or the threading is going to come undone but they're just too small to wear. I wasted enough money on these I know that they are basic and I know that they are inexpensive, but you think you'd be able to get at least a few wears out of them. But even under the best handling I'd say completely skip these. I've tried them out for several years and against my test with the Soma brand and the jockey I highly recommend that you might want to try them if you're looking for an inexpensive multi-pack because they will last you much longer their higher quality and it's just not worth these.
