Great phone!!!!!!!!

I had this Samsung S20+ for about a week and i love this phone!!!

Mine was a refurbushed model, not a single scratch on it, looks brand new & no issues when i turned it on the first time & no issues since then.

Yes, it did NOT come with the Samsung box, Samsung cable & usb wall charger. I personally do not care! due to i have a box full of samsung usb cables and wall chargers from my old Samsung phones i bought before.

It did come with the tool to remove the sd & sim card & that is the only thing i needed.

I had no intent & plan of upgrading my samsung s10+ to the samsung s20+. But at the price and buying prior refurbished samsung i am beyond happy i did it!

First, The 5G is very quick & compare to older version what ever its called. which i did not believe until i went online away from my house WIFI service and its very quick. Note: not areas have 5G service.

The overall phone response is very quick and smooth. The bixy button is gone (thankgod).

The quality of the screen resolution is outstanding & wow its clear! It has a few more minor whistles & bells features compare to the samsung s10+ Nothing to noticable.

I do like the new front camera location and its small size & its looks better. I also like you see less of the frame around the curved screen. I know & dont care if there is a technocal name for it.

Overall the phone looks great & i didnt get a case this time due to i think looks better with out one. I know, but i rarely & never drop my phone (my s10+ back up)

Reference to the camera & quality of the picture which was not a selling point for me. You will notice a much better picture & video quality.

The phone over all is a tad thinner & tad taller which i think it makes it easier to hold and use.

The battery life seems to be better but i have not fully tested it yet.

Charging it seems to be quicker & again i have not fully tested it against my s10+.

Now, is the samsung s20+ worth buying if you already have a s10 & s10+???

Personally NO!!!!!

I love my s10+ its great phone! The only reason i got the s20+ was the price $700. But if you can afford one (full price) or find one at great price like i did then YES get one!!!!

I could have lived very happy with my s10+ with no regrets if i didnt see this s20+ on amazon!

Phone is great, accessories not so much

Everything about the S20+ phone itself is awesome. I have not had any issues with it so far. I have a very old unlimited Verizon plan and didn't want to change it for 5G. I did try activating the new phone with a 5G SIM but it wouldn't work without changing my plan, even the Verizon store guys were not able to do it. I upgraded from an S5 so I had to get a new SIM card. My old SIM was micro only and the S20 is nano only. I thought about just shaving off some of the plastic but since Verizon corporate stores will give customers a new SIM for free I just went there. They were very helpful. The new SIMs come in all 3 sizes. I put the new SIM in the old phone and activated it at the Verizon store, popped out the nano version of the 4G SIM and moved it into the new phone. It works great on the 4G network.

The disappointments came with the accessories. First there are no headphones at all; I expected it come with at least generic versions of the standard accessories. Second, the power cable that came with the charger is only that, it does not work for data at all. That took me a while to figure out but with the savings from Amazon refurbished t's not a big enough issue for me to return the phone. For $20 more I'll just order a headphone adapter and another usb-c cable. The lack of standard accessories should have been more clear in the description.

I ordered the Galaxy S20+ renewed and it was delivered on time and the product is as described. After charging and booting the phone up, I started the setup process. I have MetroPCS and ordered the unlocked version. Once I got to the sim card part, the phone said it was an AT&T phone and needed an AT&T sim. This had me stressed and I thought the phone was not unlocked.

So I had to login to metro account and switch my phone for my line. The site also needed me to change my plan. After I got that sorted it, the phone still wasn't recognizing the Sim. Then I went into the phones setting and it game me the option to select metropcs under the VPN settings. After that, the phone recognized the Sim and all calls and texts have worked excellent. The phone is in excellent quality as well, no scratches that I see, charges fast, very responsive screen.

This is only day one for this review. I will update if this review changes. I hope this helps for those that may be having trouble with the Sim cards not working for unlocked phones.

Super fast even with multiple windows open, very durable, it takes a licking and keeps ticking. Very nice display, thr curved glass on the sides looks cool. And the touch screen is more responsive than past phones I have had. There's some nice features like overlaying one browser window over another where you can set the level of transparency., Also you tube video can be watched and then when another window is opened, like say a email, the video is shrunken down and still played over the other window. Nice pictures, night mode, panoramic, it's all there, has a very high level of zoom but some pictures lose some detail when zooming from far away. Overall I think it takes better pics than the iPhone 13. Pairs up with any Bluetooth headphones/speakers easily, and faster than other phones I have had. In conclusion this is the first true Galaxy that I have used and compared to the Motorola G Play and the Google Pixel 3xl, it is way better. I am now a Samsung Convert, the difference in price is well worth it, you may pay a bit more but you get more, speed, durability and the ease of use is well worth it. It comes loaded with a bunch of Samsung apps that are basically duplicates of other apps that most people already have, example: Samsung Pay: Google Pay, but some people may find them useful. There was also some weird Samsung app that was supposed to copy everything over from the old phone but it didn't work, and I tried multiple times. This was an Amazon Refurbished and it looks and functions like brand new, they did a great job with it, so If your doublethinking it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a refurb again.

It's a good refurbished phone . Only issue was it obviously had the back camera glass broken and replaced at one point . So some of the cameras are scratched under the screen . Can't really do much about it . Possibly send it back and get another one that has other defects. So your getting a refurbished phone here I would look at who your purchasing it from before you buy and go with sellers that have high ratings and not get one from a random seller who got squeezed into your searches.

Notice in the description that the phone is actually called "s20 PLUS 5G" as opposed to, "s20 plus5g" I found the description a little confusing. When I searched for a case and screen covers, I searched for s20 5g, and ended up buying the wrong ones that I had to return. I really like this phone, and know that at the price it won't compete with the new flagships, but who cares? If you're looking for a phone that just does what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price you've certainly found the right phone. The only thing I dislike is the Samsung password manager and bloatware. I wish I trusted myself more, because I would certainly root this phone and be 100%, pleased with it.
