3.0 out of 5 starsIs definitely waterproof

So this is the second type of waterproof case I have purchased. It is most definitely secure and waterproof, however the plastic seems to get dull very quickly, and this affects picture quality. So at first, the pics are great and clear, and afterwards they get really blurry, and its hard to get a good picture. I used this one for my vacation. I went snorkeling and the first day, the pics turned out great. The problem with any types of cases like these is that the phone is hard to operate under the water due to the water pressure. It cannot detect the pressure of your finger on the controls. A couple of work arounds for this - open the camera while the pouch is out of the water, then take the camera down and use the side button to take pics instead of the button on the screen. For videos, a little tricker - again take the pouch out of the water and start recording a video. Then submerge the pouch and continue to take video. Another couple of points - the side button to take pics isn't the easiest to work because that's where the bulk of the plastic is. Also, when the phone is in the pouch, its loose in there. So when you're taking pics underwater, if the lens isn't against the side you're not going to get a great picture - I mean you can understand why, but at the same time, no way to make the phone lie flush against the side of the pouch
So in short, it works, it's waterproof but operating it underwater is tricky. I love the tie around the neck. I have been boogie boarding with the other pouch around my neck, and it stays even as the surf tossed me around. With this pouch, I was able to let go and leave ti around my neck as I was snorkeling.
It would also work great if you just wanted to put your credit card and/or keys in there to take into the water.
