Inconsistent Cooking Results
Despite the advertised Patented Linear T Thermal Technology, I found the cooking results to be very inconsistent. Some parts of the food would be overcooked while other parts remained undercooked. This issue persisted across various types of foods and cooking methods, making it frustrating to use.
Complicated Controls
The digital control panel is not as user-friendly as I hoped. The pre-programmed settings are confusing, and the manual doesn’t provide clear instructions. Adjusting the temperature and time settings feels cumbersome, and I often found myself struggling to get the settings right.
Large and Bulky
While the 7.25-quart capacity might be great for some, it makes the appliance overly large and bulky. It takes up a significant amount of counter space, which is a problem in my already cramped kitchen. Additionally, it’s heavy and awkward to move around when needed.
Difficult to Clean
The non-stick basket is not as easy to clean as advertised. Food residues often get stuck in hard-to-reach places, making the cleaning process time-consuming and frustrating. Even after thorough cleaning, there were still bits of food left behind, which is not hygienic.
Poor Build Quality
The build quality of the Nuwave Brio is disappointing. After just a few uses, the handle on the basket started to feel loose, and the overall construction feels flimsy. For the price, I expected a more robust and durable product.
Noisy Operation
This air fryer is extremely noisy during operation. The loud fan noise is disruptive, especially when cooking for extended periods. It’s difficult to carry on a conversation or enjoy a quiet evening while this appliance is running.
Overpriced for What It Offers
Considering all the issues I’ve encountered, I feel that this air fryer is overpriced. There are better alternatives on the market that offer more consistent results, better build quality, and easier operation at a similar or lower price point.
In conclusion, the Nuwave Brio 10-in-1 Air Fryer 7.25Qt has not lived up to its promises. The inconsistent cooking results, complicated controls, large size, difficulty in cleaning, poor build quality, noisy operation, and high price point make it a product I cannot recommend. Save your money and invest in a more reliable air fryer.
