I bought a 3-pack and submerged them in water for more than an hour, with a paper towel inside. 2 of them were completely dry, one had some water inside (the paper towel was 1/3 damp). I threw that one out but did order another set of 3. The price is great and if at least 2 work, it's still worthwhile. I have not used them "in the wild" yet, but feel more comfortable based on the paper towel experiment. The plastic does feel pretty flimsy but the top clasp is easy to use and I had no problem putting the phone in or taking it out. The size worked as well - I checked my phone model against the models they say it fits. Tried the phone screen once while in plastic and it seemed to work.
(UPDATED) - we used these on vacation and they worked great. We were nervous to bring the cameras in the water, but the cases held the water out. The pictures turned out really well - doesn't look like it was behind plastic - and the phones were easy to operate/swipe while in the cases.

Can’t say it doesn’t work, it does. Honestly though, was a LOT of effort to open/close it. I’m not frail, this waterproof casing is just particularly tricky compared to others I’ve used in the past. It definitely doesn’t travel well in the water due to the bulky design but is helpful if you just don’t feel comfy leaving anything of value on shore/in a boat. Would not be a ‘go to’ if I were wanting to take pics through my phone due to how spacious this pack is. You’d have to work hard to push it against the clear plastic to get any kind of ‘not clear’ picture. Was able to use just 1 of them to carry both of our phones, wallets/ID & other bits when we were out on boats or on the beach to avoid water/sand getting in to them & took it out in the ocean with us 1x. It definitely floats but the problem was due to the bill/air in it, made it difficult in waves to swim with it (we’re strong swimmers).
Ultimately, it does what it says it does but expect to spend a lot of time/effort opening/closing it (beyond what a lot of waterproof products take) & know that the cases stand out like a sore thumb & will be bulky to carry. On the plus side, if it falls into the water by accident, you won’t have to dive down to get it & will likely float if you follow the direction.
