The iPad came with a case, which wasn't in the description... once I pulled the iPad out of the case it became obvious that they were trying to mask the abuse the back of the iPad experienced... I was able to capture the 5 worst dings in the back case, but there's more I can't capture in a photo.
Screens fine and it seems to function fine, time will tell if the battery is in good health.
