This phone is basically a non-waterproof version of the S series. The camera setup is amazing, as you can see from the unedited pictures. The battery lasts all day and I'm always on the phone. It's slim and light.
Many reviews criticized the fingerprint scan, and they are correct if using a glass or plastic screen protector. There is a setting for increased sensitivity for the fingerprint sensor, but again, I only had success prior to installing the screen protector.
I find the processing speed to be impressive for everything I do: lots of pics and videos; excel, PowerPoint and word/pdf viewing; the screen is large enough for me to create spreadsheets instead of getting out my laptop while traveling; it's also large enough to effectively use the split screen.
I would highly recommend this phone. I can't see a reason to spend an additional $1,000 on the S series. Get a waterproof bag for about $10-15 on here for the few times you want to take it in the pool...
*for all those saying it doesn't work on Verizon. I am a Total Wireless customer, which is on the Verizon network. I had zero issues completing the registration or porting my old number. It has worked flawlessly across six states now - I travel for work regularly and haven't experienced any difficulties.
