My 4 and a half year old cat just loves leaping after the feathers. The soft fabric "worms" are squiggly and have really caught her attention! The telescoping wand is great because it can be easily stored so cat won't tear the toys to pieces if she finds it. She begs at the closet for me to get it and play with her.
Because feathers are fragile, they will likely break easily if she catches it, and especially if she can chew them before the feathers are rescued from her. So, the replacement toys that come with the kit are a welcome addition, as well as having an extra wand. The nylon string seems sturdy. The clip to attach toys is convenient. Like a fishing rod, the wand bends easily and so far has shown resistance to breakage when kitty tugs on it. I give the kit a 4 rating because she's only had it one day to play with. I can't evaluate the sturdiness of the wands or connecting mechanisms between it and the toy until it has had further use. However this toy kit is priced well and seems to be a good value for price. With the two wands and replacement parts, this appears to be a good value. Plus, kitty gets high-flying exercise and entertainment, reducing likelihood of a bored kitty with restless, annoying behaviors. You will have fun playing with your kitty, too.
