I purchased this protector to help provide extra protection in the event that I drop my phone hoping that it will protect my screen from cracking. Well after actually applying this screen protector I dropped my phone and the protector did crack but when I removed it I was pleased to see that it in fact protect my screen from cracking. I cleaned the screen again with the remaining protector and reapplied it with no problem. As luck would have it I dropped the phone again and now the current protector is also cracked again, I will re order this screen protector because it has helped to prevent my screen from chipping or cracking. It does what it advertises to do.
