It is plug and play for T-Mobile, just works right off the bar. Also works on AT&T but have to enable VOLTE via a dial #. Might need to contact AT&T to know what # to dial on the phone number pad. The phone is a great piece of kit. I also have the Asus RoG 7. Some have doubted that the 8 Pro is downgrade but I agree and disagree at the same time. A smaller battery, front speakers are now top firing and a camera punch hole on the screen are the only negatives I found. The positives on the 8 Pro are noticeable to me. Better and brighter AMOLED screen, speakers slightly louder, Dirac is tuned better, wireless charging, way better camera now and now an easier grip to one hand usage.
