Hello World,
I Have Never Write A Kind Review For Any Item. However, This Is An Exception And I Wished To Take The Time To Give The Credit Where It Is Due. (MultiClean™ Allergen Lift-Off® Pet Model #2998)
I Have The Original Bissell Pet Vac From 1996(?) That Is 12amps And I Was Mortified When My Motor Gave Out Finally. By The Way, I Am Keeping It And Fixing That Baby. Anyways, This Has All Pros And A Few (Not Cons) Wishful Helpful Fixes To Mention.
Pros:
Does Wonders With Suction Like The Old Pro And Never Moved My Area Rugs. Not Even The Small Featherweight Bathroom Rugs. Most Of All, This Cleans Those Wonderful Yet I Hate You Rugs That Are Great For Your Feet Microfiber Kitchen Mats. It Never Moved And Looks Brand New. WOW!!
The Vacuum Is So Lightweight Does Not Even Begin To Say How Easy And Fast I Vacuumed All 2.3K.sq.ft. Of The House And Then Cleaned The Vacuum. Accomplished This In Less Than Twenty(20) Minutes And I Did The Three(3) Stair Cases As Well; With The Entire Vacuum (No Breaking It Down). My Old Baby, Is Way Too Heavy To Accomplish This Task; Even With The Small Attachments. This Vacuum May State Fifteen (15.7) Pounds, But Feels Lighter Than A Galloon Of Milk.
Easy To Clean Just Like The Video. No Tricks From Their Advertisement.
Even Though The Suction Path Width Is Smaller, I Enjoyed Being Able To Get Into The Tight Spaces Of A Walking Closet That I Could Not With My Baby. I Also Enjoyed Not Having The Large Bumpers Like The Other And It Is Thin Enough To Get Under The Furniture Without Having To Do Lifting; Not Even The Credenzas. There Are So Many Pluses I Am Truly Overjoyed With My Purchase.
The Little Fixes:
1) I Would Not Use The Two(2) Screws In The Funnel. I Want The Pieces To Twist Off So I May Clean The Entire Device Without A Screwdriver. Dust And Hair Still Gets Stuck Up Inside Near The Gasket.
2) I Am Use To Being Able To Have A Foot Pedal To Release The Brush Head To Spin. I Am Having To Step On The Top Of The Vacuum Casing To Hold It When I Tilt To Release.
3) A Much Longer Electrical Cord Times Five(5) At Least / One-Hundred Fifty (150 feet). Unplugging This Is Annoying. The Cord States Thirty(30) Feet, But It Feels Like Twelve(12). I Just Want To Vacuum At Top Speed, Not Stop And Fiddle With A Cord.
