This is overall a very comfortable and great-sounding headset. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a new headset for their PC.
PROS:
-Excellent sound: after some fine tuning, these headphones sound great for music, podcasts and games. These come with a very flat sound profile out of the box, so you may want to adjust your EQ settings to get it sounding the way you want it to. I've found that a +3dB bass boost works best for my ears.
-Very comfy: These sit very gently on your head and you can wear them for hours on end without discomfort.
-Charging dock: This headset comes with a charging dock, which makes it very easy and convenient to keep charged.
-Value: $150 is a pretty respectable price in 2024.
CONS:
-The mic sounds terrible. You're not going to record any video essays with this. It's good enough for voice calls though, and the automatic gain control works well.
-There's no companion software, so there's no good way to view the battery charge level or use the PS5 audio features in Windows.
-None of the problems above bug me enough to remove the 5-star rating.
