I purchased the Eero Pro 6 E from Best Buy 2 weeks ago. I was replacing my Smartthings Routers and upgrading to wifi 6. My house is 4,500 sq ft. with some obstructions, so during renovations I had Cat-6 run throughout the house. The Smartthing routers worked perfectly for several years while connected to the Ethernet.

When setting up the Eero routers, the main router connected to my modem. I connected the main router to a switch, which connected to the extending routers. One extending router will not pick up the Ethernet cable and only connects via WiFi. The other extending router picks up the Ethernet cable but constantly goes off line. Also, my signal throughout my house was very weak.

I purchased these two extenders to improve my WiFi signal. When setting them up, the Eero App confirmed good placement. However, both extenders also constantly go offline.

Also, when I updated the software on the extenders it took the entire mesh system offline for the day.

I am very unhappy with the Eero Mesh System. I never had these issues with Smartthings!
