I've had this device over a year now. When I originally bought it and got it going it lasted about 3 months. I want to say outright that I believe that this is a problem with this specific phone. I do not believe this is an issue you will find when buying your device from this seller. Just one of those instances where you hit an unlucky lottery. I absolutely love this phone it has dominated over every ipad or device smaller than a console as far as uninterrupted gamplay, battey life that can last legit 2 days of non stop tap type gaming, and just its accessibility and strait forward directions in settings controls which for me personally are always a challenge. But ultimately my troubles came here... About 3 months of using this phone it requested a system update. DURING THAT SYSTEM UPDATE IT CORRUPTED All THE FILES. It requested that I use a system key to do a factory reset on the phone but here's where the real road block comes in.
I take the device to 6 different geek fix it stores to see if they're available to factory reset the phone, but because the phone is so new and ALSO built overseas. These fix it company's have not received the factory reset code.
It is now May 20th 2024 I still cannot use my $800 phone due to the restrictions listed above.
I will not give this retailer or device a lower score. The phone is absolutely amazing and more than I've ever experienced. But I'm stuck in this hole and I hope no one else has to deal with this still ongoing issue.
