I bought these to cover my rusty bathtub drains. I didn't really buy them for the ability to catch hair but it is a nice side effect. The quality of the material is solid and it seems like it will last for quite a long time. My only complaint would be that it doesn't stick in place as well as I would expect. It's not a problem at all for me because it stays where I want it just by how the tub is. But if you had a tub were the cover might get bumped slightly, it may move around some
