I recently purchased the Amazon Alexa Voice Remote Pro, attracted by its advanced features, especially the remote finder. Overall, it’s a solid product with just one significant shortcoming.
The build quality and design of the remote are excellent. It feels robust and comfortable in the hand. The backlit buttons are a game changer, making it easy to use in dimly lit or dark environments - no more fumbling around trying to figure out which button is which.
Integration with Alexa is seamless, and the voice control feature works flawlessly. It's incredibly convenient to control the TV, ask for weather updates, or even control smart home devices, all without lifting a finger. This feature alone has streamlined our TV viewing experience.
The TV controls are comprehensive, allowing me to easily manage power, volume, and even switch inputs on my TV. This universal control aspect has reduced the clutter of having multiple remotes, which is a huge plus.
However, the major downside is the remote finder feature, which was one of the main reasons I chose this model. Unfortunately, it rarely works as expected.
