I’ve had this container for about a month now and overall I’m pleased.
First impressions. The Buzio is very nice to look at. The finish on it is a nice powder coat that looks great and then I covered it up with the included neoprene sleeve and haven’t really looked at the exterior again. Luckily the sleeve seems very high quality and looks good in its own right. The sleeve has a hand strap and two loops stitched into it. Overall it’s an attractive albeit large water bottle.
Overall practical function. In general it performs as expected. It keeps cold things cold for longer than a plastic water bottle but not quite for as long as I thought. I think it advertises almost a day of cold but I felt like it made it usually about 8-10 hours which honestly is long enough for me. It comes with an alternate flip up straw lid which is what I prefer and maybe that impacts the time. The lid has a small handle also which is nice and the bottle has a shoulder strap attachment as well which comes in handy oddly enough. Overall the container is pretty heavy but about what I expected. It’s is a half gallon container after all. My biggest quibble is the the lid sometimes leaks. I have the bottle in the car with me as I drive throughout the day and sometimes if I have really cinched down the top I will realize it’s been slowly dripping onto the passenger seat where inlay it. Once I crank it down it stops but that’s one thing to be aware of especially if you’re drinking something other than just water. I haven’t tried it with heat. Honestly I feel like hot things in double insulated containers is not ideal it just means that by the time the liquid cools down enough to drink I won’t want it any more.
Overall I have been very pleased with Buzios product and definitely feel it was worth what I paid. I think for most people you will be pleased with this product.
